Sounding Board Launch

Kanchi is thrilled to announce the successful launch of the Sounding Board! The Launch was held Saturday October 4th at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Dublin.

What is the Sounding Board? The Sounding Board is composed of people all whom either have a disability or are in close association with disability. Committed to positive change, this group will assemble four times a year to advise Kanchi on its current and future projects. Members from both Ireland and around the globe will draw from their diverse experiences and backgrounds to offer unique perspective.

Kanchi is eager to work with the Sounding Board and cannot thank them enough for their time!

Disposable People - Contemporary Global Slavery

Disposable People is a Photography exhibition curated by Mark Sealy of Autograph ABP that presents the work of eight Magnum Photographers and explores the issue of Contemporary Global Slavery. The photographers who feature in the show are Abbas, Ian Berry, Stuart Franklin, Jim Goldberg, Susan Meiselas, Paolo Pellegrin, Chris Steele-Perkins and Alex Webb. If you are in London do check out the exhibition in the Southbank Centre running until the 9th of November or there is a publication that accompanies the work featuring the writer Kevin Bale who has written extensively on the subject.
