Everything Kanchi does makes’ sense; we don’t make people do things because they feel like they have too. It makes sense for business to engage with the disability business case and disability community because it gives them access to unsaturated market spaces, talent, allows them to retain talented staff and manages their reputation during a stiff economy with an impending talent shortage.
As the Kanchi team and our initiatives expand and move into new and exciting areas we’re committed to ensuring that we keep up to date with disability and everything the disability demographic has to offer.
So it made sense for the Kanchi team members to do Disability Awareness Training today with Terry Fahy our Disability and Training consultant – and it was great!

I’m a big fan of “Captain Obvious” and as with everything that Kanchi does, doing things that makes sense – and this training did just that!

Learning about everything from; equality to legislation to communications but to name a few topics, the Kanchi disability awareness training is conducted through a variety of formats including, videos, power point, case studies and group work.
For me, this training highlighted particular issues associated with disability that I had never thought about before, it gave me an insight into disability as a whole and I really felt like I learned a lot that will help me do my work as Kanchi’s Comms officer!
Big thumbs up from me for Terry’s Disability Awareness Training.
