Ability Awards International
International interest in the Ability Awards has created the opportunity to replicate the awards outside of Ireland.
Ireland has been home to the O2 Ability Awards since 2004. This year Kanchi will take the Ability Awards outside of Ireland and for the first time, they will be launched in Spain, thanks to a partnership with Telefonica, the world’s third largest telecommunications company. The Spanish Awards will follow a similar format to the Irish programme and are designed to create innovative partnerships between business, media and the government to create opportunities for people with disabilities.
