Dialogue in the Dark - Dialogue Social Enterprise

Kanchi brought award winning workshop, Dialogue in the Dark (Concept by Andreas Heinecke), to Dublin June 8-12.

Dialogue in the Dark is a ground-breaking series of leadership workshops that are run in complete darkness.

Facilitated by blind trainers, these workshops are aimed at senior managers and Boards of Directors to challenge the way they think and act in unfamiliar territory. Participants improve their ability to communicate and develop greater empathy and sensitivity to the needs of others.

Dialogue in the Dark International is the brain child of social entrepreneur, Andreas Heinecke. He has taken this concept around the world. To date over 5 million people in 22 different countries have participated in the workshops.

As part of our work to challenge the way people think about disability, Kanchi is bringing Dialogue in the Dark to Ireland for the first time in June 2009. For us the workshops present a unique opportunity for leaders in Ireland to gain a greater insight into the challenges faced by people with disabilities. They will also provide an excellent platform for training and developing senior teams.
