The O2 Ability Awards
The Ability Awards, with Irish title sponsor O2, were launched in 2004 with the purpose of engaging business leadership around the business case for disability.
The Ability Awards are the first Irish business awards which recognise best practice for the inclusion of people with disabilities as customers, employees and members of the community. Created by Kanchi, this successful awards programme provides an environment for learning and continuous improvement. Businesses are led through an intensive assessment process leading to awards for best practice in categories which encompass all aspects of employment, the built environment and customer service.
The fourth O2 Ability Awards will be launched by Kanchi in September 2009.
